I began teaching violin in 2000. Since then, I have enjoyed teaching all ages, from beginners through to advanced students. All of my students have been successful in their AMEB examinations, and have continued to enjoy playing.

Over the years, I have belonged to many ensembles and orchestras, and have enjoyed a wide variety of string playing, also being proficient on the double bass. My tertiary studies took me through to a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental & Vocal Pedagogy, with a major in violin. Additionally I gained a Bachelor of Education, both degrees being awarded through the University of Queensland. I studied piano and theory to Fifth Grade privately, before attending university, and both featured as part of my tertiary studies.

In 2002, I gained my Associate of Music (Australia) with Distinction, in violin, being the only candidate in Queensland to do so that year. The following year saw an achievement of my Recital in Violin Diploma from Trinity College in London.

After graduating from University in 2005, I began employment with the Queensland Department of Education as a Primary Music Teacher. Since then, I have been teaching full time primary school music, as well as taking tuition in my home studio - violin teaching from beginner to advanced levels, and piano and theory tuition for beginner through to intermediate levels.
